faqGeneral FAQThe automatic installation in SteamTab/MoistAirTab/CO2Tab does not seem to work. What do I do?The automatic installation is done by opening the INSTALL.XLS file and following the instructions that appear on the screen. But, in some instances, when this file is opened from Excel, nothing happens. The most likely reason for this is that the security level in Excel is set to "High" (default setting). To allow execution of the installation procedure, the Excel security level needs be changed to "Medium". To do this, start Excel and from the "Tools" menus select "Macros" and then "Security...". Set the security option to "Medium" and select OK. Now, when you open the INSTALL.XLS file, Excel will ask if you want to Enable or Disable the macros in this file. Select "Enable" and the installation should proceed automatically. After you have verified that SteamTab, MoistAirTab or CO2Tab is functioning properly after the installation, you may wish to reset the Excel security level back to where it was. This procedure should apply to Excel 2000, XP or later versions. As we have all learned, added security comes at the expense of convenience. SteamTab FAQ
